I hope that everyone is comfortably getting into the groove of things. This e-mail is reaching you all late, so I apologize in advance. But attached you will find a calendar of events for the month of September and the minutes for the first general body meeting.!

I do want to emphasize some key events that are only briefly highlighted on the calendar:
If you are able, please attend this event. It is this Wednesday, September 17, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the African American Cultural Center (Witherspoon Student Center).
AADSA will be doing a mural project with the Peer Mentor Program on Saturday, September 27. If you are interested in participating in this project, or if you want to know more, please contact AADSA Vice President Brittany Davis by Wednesday, September 17. Her e-mail is: bcdygb2005@yahoo.com.
Student Government Appropriations are fast-approaching. This is the time when organizations ask for funding. If you have an event, activity, program, etc. in mind that you'd like to see happen this semester, please respond with specific ideas. That event should somehow benefit the whole NCSU campus and should take place on campus.
The next general body meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. in KAM 130 (Note the time change
