5 Steps to success in graduate school
The Adult Education & Training and Development Graduate Student Association (GSA) serves all graduate students interested in our related fields. This website is an information portal where you can find more information about upcoming events and chat with other grad students. Log into Vista and visit our student-only forum vista.ncsu.edu. Look for the link to this GSA. If you do not see the GSA link, send an email with your unity ID to tyler_townsend@ncsu.edu. We will add you.

Present your research at the Research Chronicles poster session. More than $100 in prizes will be awarded! Develop a poster to present your ideas to other students, faculty and staff at the 4th annual GSA poster session March 10, 2008. Apply by Feb 22. Download the complete information (MS-Word), including a publicity flyer, "How To" resources page, call for papers, and session application. Email tyler_townsend@ncsu.edu if you have questions about the poster session.

The GSA mission is to enrich the educational and social experiences of graduate students in the adult- and higher-education and T&D programs. We are in association with the University Graduate Student Association.

Various departmental graduate assistantships, although limited, are available each year to incoming students. For most of the assistantships, preference will be given to doctoral students.
