Chapter Information
The student chapter of AHS was formed at NCSU in January 2008. Our purpose is designed to educate and inform the student body and the public of the theory and practices of Vertical and Short Takeoff and Landing (V/STOL) aircraft and to engage in educational and scientific activities to advance the theory and practices of helicopter and other V/STOL aircraft.
Membership is open to all regularly enrolled students interested in V/STOL and/or aviation in general. Dues are $30 per year and include membership in local and national AHS organizations. Members receive Vertiflite 4 or 5 times a year. (The subscription to just the magazine is worth $135 per year.)
