This fall, Aikido Club will meet on Basketball Court #11, Carmichael Gym from 7 to 9pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Directions:Entering Carmichael Gym from the Cates Ave. brick bridge entrance, go past the stairs and throught the double doors. Court #11 is BEHIND the big red divider. Women's Basketball practices in front of the divider, and the Cheerleaders and Rock Wall are further back.

To non-students: The club meets in the gym; to be a member you must be able to get into Carmichael Gym with either a student ID or a gym membership. For non-students, our parent dojo Raleigh Aikikai may be a viable alternative to practicing on campus. That said, students, community members, faculty, and staff are all welcome to join us at any time.

The Aikido Club at NC State University, established in 1991, is affiliated with the United States Aikido Federation (USAF) Eastern Region.

Our club is a part of Raleigh Aikikai, which is headed by Christopher Crandall (4th Dan Shidoin), a student of Mitsunari Kanai Shihan of New England Aikikai. Kanai Sensei was an 'uchi deshi' of O Sensei in Honbu Dojo and was the Technical Director of the USAF.
