Welcome
to the North Carolina Chapter of Alpha Zeta
Alpha
Zeta is a professional organization of men and women whose
educational and career objectives fall within the broadly
defined field of agriculture and natural resources. Founded
at The Ohio State University on November 4,1897, it is the
oldest fraternal society in agriculture. Our local chapter,
the North Carolina Chapter, was installed January 30, 1904
and is the oldest of its kind at North Carolina State University.
"The
purpose of Alpha Zeta Fraternity is to bind together a group
of men and women interested in the continued advancement of
agriculture and to foster and develop high standards of scholarship,
character, leadership and a spirit of fellowship among its
members.
