The NC State chapter of the American Meteorological Society is the on-campus society serving the needs of students studying meteorology and other related sciences, and anyone else interested in meteorology.

Meetings are generally held once a month, from September through May. Meetings are normally centered around a speaker from industry or research. We also encourage attendance to the Central North Carolina Chapter meetings on the third Thursday of each month. We begin and conclude every academic year with fall and spring picnic events, and other special events are held throughout the year.

Spring Break 2008
Hi AMSers,
The webmaster has been slacking, but we haven't been sitting around doing nothing since September! The website now includes a new Google Calendar with events. Check it out, we'll be adding events as we plan then. If you use Google Calendar, you can add ours, so you always know what's going on.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Spring Break! Relax, and enjoy your time off from classes!
