The American Water Resources
Association (AWRA) is a scientific and educational non-profit organization.
The AWRA was established to encourage and foster interdisciplinary communication
among persons of diverse backgrounds working on any aspect of water resources
disciplines. Individuals, agencies, and corporations interested in water
resources can benefit greatly from membership in AWRA.
The principal objectives of AWRA are:

the advancement of water resources research, planning, development,
management, and education.

the establishment of a common meeting ground for physical, biological,
and social scientists, engineers, and other persons concerned with water
resources.

the collection, organization, and dissemination of ideas and information
in the field of water resources science and technology.
The Student Chapter of the American Water Resources Association at NCSU
was formed in September 1995.
Join Us For Our Monthly Meetings on the second Monday of each
month.
