Campus In Action

Dedicated to promoting campus awareness of community service and community activism through education and communication.

  1. Our goal is to present views other than those easily obtained by casual research.
  2. We aim to determine and attack the causes of social problems and the services that alleviate the effects of said problems.
  3. We believe that by spreading the word of the connectedness of social justice activism and community volunteer service, the idealism of students, faculty, and staff alike will grow and develop to create a more responsible environment.
  4. In partnering students, faculty, and staff on campus, we hope to expose the diverse and creative viewpoints on service and activism from all facets of campus life.
  5. Our scope concentrates on matters beyond the realm of the North Carolina State University campus as well as campus issues because we believe firmly that service and activism nationwide and globally are pertinent to the lives of all people.
  6. We respect and encourage diverse ideologies and people to advance dialogue and action concerning social issues.
  7. Ultimately, the objective of our organization is to promote an educated population of critical thinkers who are aware of the world around them, how is affects them, and their responsibility to it as human beings.
  8. Although we see service and activism in an intertwined relationship, we respect the right of anyone who wants to get involved in our organization to join in any capacity that she or he sees fit.

We wish you all energy, spirit, and mental peace.
