CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY
The
NCSU Wolfpack Clogging Team began in 1989 under the direction of Marsha Lester.
The team’s first performance was at a women’s basketball game in Reynold’s
Coliseum. From that point on, the team began its long journey of success as a
recognized organization on campus. The team has traveled to many places (local
and international) to perform and compete and has won numerous awards. In
addition to competition, the team has been very dedicated to community service
in Raleigh and surrounding areas.
In
2007, the Wolfpack Clogging Team requested affiliation with NC State’s Club
Sports program. Club Sports is well known on campus and has been an advocate to
student groups over the years. In 2008, the team became fully affiliated with
the program. Club Sports has provided the team with more resources to become a
more competitive, service oriented group. The team is unique in the sense that
we are completely run by students.
