The Everest Club is a Nepali Student Organization at the North Carolina State University. The Club was formed on October 31 of 2000, with the aim of bringing together all Nepalese students, alumni, faculty and staff of the NCSU with all other members of NCSU community interested in Nepal together to single platform for exchange of information and idea.

"The main purposes of this club will be to open up a forum, where the people at North Carolina State University as well as the local community are given an opportunity to get introduced with Nepal and Nepali Culture and to promote friendship among students and scholars at NCSU and the local community including local Nepali organizations." - by laws

One of the main activities of the Everest Club will be to introduce Nepal and Nepali culture amongst the NCSU community through various events and activities.

The name of the club is after the most famous place of Nepal the Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world. The picture of Mt. Everest is shown on the top, this is called Sagarmatha in Nepali and is 8848 meters high.
