Kappa Omicron Chapter
Chartered April 27, 1976
Greetings!
On behalf of the Kappa Omicron Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, I welcome you to our lovely website. Please feel free to browse through the extraordinary legacy and accomplishments our sorority and chapter have accomplished throughout the years. Established in 1908 as the first Greek-letter organization among African American women, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated continues to transcend above and beyond our fellow peers. Keeping our mission statement in mind we continue to provide adequate programs, community service projects, and events to evolve the community around us. As Ladies of the Kappa Omicron Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated at North Carolina State University, we strive to uphold the sophistication, empowerment, and intelligence of our organization on our campus. As future leaders of this world we adhere to the immaculate quote by the honorable J.Todd Ferrier, “We are what we think; as we desire so do we become. By our thoughts, desires, and habits, we either ascend to the full divine dignity of our nature, or we descend to suffer and learn.”
Sincerely,
Jamillia Lackey, President Kappa Omicron Chapter
