A. Overall Procedure:
Student tickets are reserved seats. Ticket distribution begins at 7:00
a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. on the first distribution date at windows 1,
2, and 3 in front of Reynolds Coliseum. Remaining tickets will be
distributed on a second day at window 1. No student tickets will be
distributed after the second day. A student may pick up two (2) tickets
provided they have their own valid All Campus Card. The second ticket
may be picked up with another student's valid All Campus Card or
purchased as a guest ticket. Please note that no guest tickets will be
sold in the student floor sections.
B. Procedure:
Tickets are on a first come first serve basis. All students wanting
tickets to home men's basketball games must be in single file lines
extending from the windows. Line monitors will be available only for the
aid of the ticket distributors. It is the student's responsibility to
keep up with their place in line! Members of the Campus Life Committee
and Public Safety Officers can revoke any ticket privileges from
nonconforming students.
C. Duke and UNC Ticket Distribution
The University decided that there will be no camp-out for basketball
tickets this year. Tickets for these games will be distributed in a
random basis beginning at 7:00 a.m. on the distribution date. Not all
students wanting tickets for these games will get tickets based on
anticipated demand.
D. Policy Implementation and Modification
The Student Senate Campus Life Committee and the Department of Athletics
will be responsible for developing any necessary and proper guidelines
for the effective implementation of the ticket policy. Appropriate
conduct of students is requested to make this a manageable process for
all involved. This policy is subject to change upon approval of the
Student Senate and the Department of Athletics.
D. Concerning Fraudulent Use of the All
Campus Card
Fraudulent use of an All Campus Card will result in loss of ticket
privileges for the next event and the immediate confiscation of the All
Campus Card. The violation will be referred to the Judicial Board for
review. Fraudulent use of the All Campus Card includes but is not
limited to, students allowing non-students or alumni to use their cards
to gain entrance to games, or students using All Campus Cards other than
their own.
G. Students with Disabilities
Those students with apparent disability who are registered with the
Athletic Ticket Office and the Student Organization of the Differently
Abled (SODA) may request for a second ticket free with their All Campus
Card for the use of a person aiding them into and out of the
Entertainment and Sports Arena.
The Student Senate Campus Life Committee and
appointed representatives will be acting as line monitors for ticket
distribution to insure the credibility of the procedure, to answer any
questions that may arise, and to allow students getting tickets a faster
line enabling them to not miss class.
