The Race
The event has been growing bigger and better each and every year that we have held it. Previous 5K's have seen over 300 runners and raised well over $5,000. We have received numerous sponsorships and support from local businesses and private citizens.
Fun Run
A 1 mile untimed run/walk for people of all ages to show their support for Habitat for Humanity. Great for families and groups.
Entry Fees
5K: $15 through April 4, $20 until race day
1 Mile: $10 through April 4, $15 until race day
Late day of race registration will begin at 7:30 am the morning of the race please arrive early.
Special Pricing
High School or College Teams as well as other groups that register 8 or more runners are eligible for special pricing.
T-Shirts
ALL Registrants will receive a FREE T-Shirt!

Registration can be completed online at Active.com.
Results and Scoring
Race scoring will be provided by Atlantic Coast Timing. This year's race will be chip timing to ensure accuracy and rapid race results.
Course
The 5K race uses USATF Certified Course #NC04013PH. The course is asphalt and includes some hills both steep and rolling. The 1 mile fun run/walk follows a fun and exciting path through NC State's beautiful Centennial Campus. The race map can be viewed in the pictures portion of the race site.
Rules
In the interest of safety, no bicycles, roller-skates, inline skates, skateboards, scooters, pets will be permitted during the race. All participants must register, and wear their assigned number on the front of their shirt.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity of Wake County, Inc. is a nonprofit, Christian organization dedicated to completing their mission statement. Habitat for Humanity of Wake County develops partnerships to build healthy, affordable homes with and for God's people in need, promotes self-reliance through homeownership, affirms the dignity of the family, and creates sustainable communities. All proceeds from the House Your Neighbor 5K will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Wake County, Inc.
