A key element in the success of the 5K is our volunteers. They help ensure the safety of the participants and make sure that everyone has a great time.
No experience is necessary to help with the race and we welcome groups as well as individuals.
A few of the various tasks that volunteers help with are:
- Registration
- Setup of the course and booths
- Cleanup of the course and booths
- Help at the finish line and scoring
- Course monitors
- Food preparation
Our race this year was a great success and we could not have done it without all of our volunteers. Thank you all for volunteering.
Fundraising CommitteeThe NCSU Chapter of Habitat for Humanity Fundraising Committee is a group of dedicated students who assist in the planning and organizing of the House Your Neighbor 5K and Fun Run each year. The committee oversees and organizes fundraising, publicity, and other aspects of the event.
