Carol came to Environmental Synergy, Inc in its second year, 1999, serving as financial officer and business manager prior to becoming president in 2006.  She oversees the strategic direction of the company and manages client and partner contractual relationships.  Before joining ESI, Carol was vice president of an Atlanta-based international trade consultancy firm, Burke Marketgrowth International, where she developed and managed consulting projects and marketing initiatives on behalf of international government clients, including the federal trade and investment promotion agencies of Ireland, Austria, the Netherlands and Thailand among others.  In entrepreneurial pursuits since graduating from the University of Virginia in 1975 with a B.A. in International Relations, Carol’s background includes extensive experience in small business management, marketing and finance.
