| Kristen sang soprano with a Cappology
101 alongside her sister Allison, who is co-director
of the group this year. Not only was Kristen bright,
ever-cheerful, and compassionate, but she was also a very
talented singer. All of Kristen's friends in the a
cappella community feel her absence deeply, and we keep
her constantly in our prayers. Kristen had just completed her freshman year as a full time student at North Carolina State University. Not only was she majoring in Design, one of the most difficult majors at NCSU, she was attending on a full scholarship. Over the summer she had planned to attend a photography course at the University of California at Berkeley. She disappeared on June 23rd, the day before that course was to have started. Here is a letter written by Kristen's parents explaining what few details are known about Kristen's disappearance.
