MISSING: Kristen Modafferi

Kristen was born June 1, 1979, and has dark brown hair and eyes. She was also known for her distinctive dimples. She was 5'8" tall, and weighed approximately 140 pounds.

Kristen sang soprano with a Cappology 101 alongside her sister Allison, who is co-director of the group this year. Not only was Kristen bright, ever-cheerful, and compassionate, but she was also a very talented singer. All of Kristen's friends in the a cappella community feel her absence deeply, and we keep her constantly in our prayers.

Kristen had just completed her freshman year as a full time student at North Carolina State University. Not only was she majoring in Design, one of the most difficult majors at NCSU, she was attending on a full scholarship. Over the summer she had planned to attend a photography course at the University of California at Berkeley.

She disappeared on June 23rd, the day before that course was to have started. Here is a letter written by Kristen's parents explaining what few details are known about Kristen's disappearance.

There is now a $10,000 reward for information leading to Kristen's safe return - if you have any information about her whereabouts, please contact Officer Mahanay @ (510) 238-3641.

Please feel free to link this page wherever possible in an attempt to spread knowledge of her disappearance in hopes that someone somewhere will recognize her.

We miss you, Kristen, and we are praying for your safe return.
