In the last past years, the textile industry has suffered certain changes. The high cost of labor, technology, and other factors have forced many companies to move their production operations to places like Latin-America. This implies that international corporations as well as Latin-American companies start competing in prices and quality at an international level. The demand for professionals capable of maintaining and managing international operations has lately grown impressively. It is essential to establish ways of communication between the industry, commerce, and client. This Society has been formed by a selected group of students from the College of Textiles at North Carolina State University, with the purpose of offering the industry not only bilingual but also knowledgeable professionals of the Latin-American culture.
Our interest is to improve every day and offer high quality in our service. Your suggestions as well as your participation are always welcome.
