New Arrival Information
Maitri is committed to providing airport pickup and temporary accomodation to new students who need them. To inform us about your arrival, please fill and submit the New Arrival Information Submission Form whose link is provided at the end of this text. Upon submitting your arrival information, you will receive a confirmation email. This email will contain rerieval code and view and edit links for your record, which you can use to modify your record with us at a later time.
You can go ahead and submit your arrival information even if you do not have your air ticket yet. You can modify your record (using your retrieval code) at a later time when you have booked your tickets. However, please refrain from submitting your information before receiving your visa.
Some of you may carry an international phone card. If so, please provide its number in the 'US Contact Number' field of the form. Some of you may have already chosen your temporary housing with a senior friend who is already here, or a relative. In that case, please provide the address in the 'Temp. House Address' field. If both these do not apply to you, you can just leave those two fields blank.
If you request Pickup and Temp. Housing, you will receive another email once we assign pickup and temp. housing information to your record. This email will contain further specific details if any. Once you have submitted your information, you can sit back, relax and wait for us to do our job.
