JoAnna Maguire
JoAnna Maguire is originally from Apex, NC where she grew up twirling competitively under Janice Carmichael’s instruction. While competing she won many honors. She earned the title of Majorette Princess of America – 1989 and High School Majorette Elite – 1990. She was runner-up to Majorette Queen of America – 1990. She was the feature twirler for Apex High School Marching Band from 1986 – 1990 and then continued twirling for the N.C. State Marching Band, 1990 – 1994.
After graduating from N.C. State with a BS degree in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics, JoAnna accepted a full time position with SAS Institute. She has been working at SAS for over 10 years. JoAnna started teaching baton after graduation and is currently a Gold Seal Judge with Drum Majorettes of America.
JoAnna coached the majorettes between the years of 1999 and 2005. JoAnna is currently the Wolfpack Majorettes' advisor.
