The North Carolina State University Chapter has 85 active members that represent the top 1% of leaders on campus. Total our records show we have inducted over 200 members. We are an active chapter, meaning we induct new members each semester and recognize through OTMs year round.

"Active" members are those who are currently enrolled at NC State University, attend scheduled NRHH meetings and other events and activities, participate in the planning phases of events and activities, and therefore have a vote.

"Inactive" members are those members who miss more than 4 meetings in a semester will be classified as inactive. Inactive members have no vote. In order to regain active status, inactive members must appeal to the NRHH active membership at an NRHH meeting. Inactive members do not count as part of the one percent.

Alumni

Members become "Alumni" once they leave the institution. Alumni members do not count as part of the 1%.

Honorary Members

Beyond the undergraduate members inducted into the National Residence Hall Honorary, our chapter also inducts Honorary Members. These members, either graduate students or University staff, are inducted each semester for their impact on residence life. The Honorary Members cannot number more than ten percent of the membership. Our chapter is allowed 8 Honorary Members. Below is a link to the list of current Honorary Members.

Non-NCSU Inductees

Finally, there are the members inducted into a chapter at one university but are now attending NC State. They are welcome to join our chapter while continuing their education.
