OneTern for you...
The OneTern Internship Program of One Accord Gospel Enterprises was established to allow students in college to enhance their skills and knowledge for the business world ahead in a Christian environment. Interns of One Accord are given the opportunity to work for a new company while in school, and gain experience in their fields along with networking and people skills, and personal growth in an environment that is truly about the ministry and gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the student organization, students participate in career-oriented activities such as workshops, seminars, and even bible studies. While internships are selective, the student organization is open to all students who desire professional and spiritual growth.
I want experience...
Perhaps you would like to enhance your portfolio or resume, want to rise to the challenge of working with a new company, or would like to make professional contacts. Then a One Accord internship is for you! With our internship program, there is ample room to gain experience in your area or field. As an intern, One Accord can be a tool for you to gain the deeper knowledge and understanding needed for your professional success. Furthermore, you’ll have access to skill-building sessions and workshops in the internship student organization.
I want to learn about and practice business skills...
Maybe you’re not looking to intern with a company, but you’d like to start thinking about life after college. Then you’ll appreciate the student organization aspect of OneTern. In OneTern meetings on campus, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about what employers like to see in prospective employees such as effective listening skills, the ability to work well with others and what to do (and what not to do) in an interview, just to name a few. Plus you won’t just learn about these skills, but you’ll also participate with your peers in activities that can polish and perfect them before you are before an employer.
I also have spiritual needs...
As a Christian organization, One Accord understands the importance of participating in spiritually-sound pursuits. That’s why in the student organization we offer no-pressure sessions on various aspects of Christian spirituality in addition to the professional sessions. From bible studies to workshops on daily living to God’s plan of salvation, we’d like to make sure that our constituents receive the spiritual fulfillment that they need.
