- The team we sent to the Juniorbird Tournament got second place! And we beat UNC's teams twice during the tournament!

- The team going to the Juniorbird Tournament leaves today around 3pm. Contact an officer if any problems arise. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
- Several high school teams have already RSVP'd for coming to the Red and White Bowl.
- Even though it's awhile off, we're going to need people to help us out with moderating at the Red and White Bowl. Contact an officer for more details. Any help will be appreciated!

- We're considering having a meeting for those going to the Juniorbird Tournament shortly before this Thursday's (10/13) regular quiz bowl meeting. Check your email for updates.
- We'll be sending one 6 person team to the Juniorbird Tounrament in Athens, Georgia. Hooray!

- Tonight's meeting will be back at the same bat-place, at the same bat-time.

- We'll be calling the tournament "The Red and White Bowl."
- Tonight's meeting will be purely administative (come willing to lick envelopes). However, there's free pizza involved. We're meeting at 6pm at NY Pizza.
- If you'd like to attend the Juniorbird Tournament, bring your 55 dollars to the meeting (or, minimally 40 if youre strapped for cash). Remember that we are going to try to get as much of that reimbursed as possible.
9/28/2005-
- We should have our very own buzzer system in about a months time (so sometime near late October)! In the meantime, we're borrowing buzzers from another club to use during the Quiz Bowl meetings.
- We will definitely be attending the NAQT Juniorbird Tournament. We'll be taking two teams, and so far we have six people signed up. Check the tournaments part of the site for updates.
- If anyone has any ideas for a name for the highschool tournament we'll be hosting in the Spring semester, email Paul (the club president) at paulstew@juno.com. Creativity is appreciated!
