What are these SCAVMA credits anyway?
Why do I want them?
The main use for SCAVMA credits is determining the amount of funding students receive from SCAVMA. The applications for this funding are taken once a semester- for more information on dates and applications, please go to the SCAVMA Downloads page. The more SCAVMA credits you accumulate, the greater the percentage of funding you'll receive from SCAVMA.
A list of ways to achieve SCAVMA credits is below. These are the regularly scheduled ways to get credit; occasionally additional opportunities may arise for special events.
- Working in the Hill's Food Room (year-round)
- Working at one of the SCAVMA Open House Booths- either Concessions or T-shirts (Spring)
- Working the Dog Day Run (usually in the Spring)
- Working at the SCAVMA Silent Auction (Fall, usually early November)
- Working the SCAVMA T-shirt booth at the State Fair (October)
