Interested in networking with HR professionals at the Raleigh-Wake Human Resource Management Association, and getting free lunch out of the deal? Every month a member of NCSU SHRM can attend the RWHRMA monthly Tuesday meeting for free, by volunteering to work the registration table.

Everything will be explained to you when you get there, but basically you will be responsible for checking SHRM members off the list as they arrive, taking their payments, and handing out name badges.

Registrars need to arrive at the Raleigh Women's Club (off Glenwood Avenue) at 11:15 am, and registration is usually open until about 12:15. After that you can stay for the rest of the meeting (1:30 pm) or leave if you have to get back to classes. Check the RWHRMA site for the latest information on meeting topics.

To sign up for an open date, or if you have any questions, please e-mail Sarah Johnston. After you have signed up for a date, the RWHRMA coordinator will contact you to verify registration and provide some insight to tasks performed as a volunteer: greeting members, collecting payments, and reconciling check-in lists while hanging out name badges is the job of the volunteer.
