Club Intent

The Ski & Snowboard Club at NC State University is an active club that races with twelve other universities in the southeast. Each New Year's the club takes a week long skiing trip. Past venues have included Mount Saint Anne, in Quebec City Canada and Killington, Vermont.

The club is also a member of the USCSA, the United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association. Through this organization the Ski & Snowboard Club at NC State is involved in 4-5 races each year.

 

 

General Race Info

The first three races are held at Sugar Mountain, N.C., Wintergreen, V.A., and Bryce, V.A., Ski Resorts. Depending on the race standings, a team can be invited to the Southern Conference Finals competitions at Snowshoe Ski Resort, W.V. and regionals at Blue Mountain Ski Resort, P.A. Divisions include: men's skiing, men's snowboarding, women's skiing, and women's snowboarding.

Meetings

Starting the first tuesday in September we will have meetings every other week at 7:00pm in Room 2036 Carmichael Gym.

How To Join

First come meet the officiers in the brick yard on Club Sport's Publicity day on Thursday, August 21. The first meeting of the year will be determined at a later date but will be held in 2037 Carmichael Gym. Any more questions?
