These will all take place at Ready Creek Dairy. Sign up sheets have been posted on the Therio club board.

There are 8 slots for each lab, with 2 alternates. Priority will be given to...

1. Members of the Bovine and Therio Club
2. Members of the Bovine OR Therio Club
3. All others interested

Please only sign-up on a day in which you know you can make it. Spots fill up fast and so if you can't make yours, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance. Also, PLEASE try to find a sub if you can't go.

Mare Palpation and Ultrasound Pregnancy Diagnosis Wetlab

Therio Club is hosting a Mare Palpation and Ultrasound Pregnancy Check Wetlab Wednesday November 18th.

Dr. Schramme will be demonstrating rectal palpation and ultrasound as a technique used to diagnose pregnancy in the mare. Students will have a chance to palpate and use the ultrasound.

We will hopefully be having two sessions, one form 2:00 - 3:00 pm and the other from 3:00 - 4:00 pm. The sessions will be limited to 6 students each, so that each student will get ample hands on opportunity.

If there is alot of interest Therio Club and SCAAEP members will get priority. If there are not enough people for both sessions, the two sessions will be combined into one at 2:00 – this will be limited to 6-8 people.
