NCSU Contract
with the Environment
We offer YOU (member or non-member) the opportunity and encourage
you to sign our NCSU
Contract with the Environment, co-developed by WESA
and the Campus
Environmental Sustainability Team (CEST). All of this
year’s officers have signed the contract, and we hope that
our members have a similar attitude towards caring for the environment.
If you agree, please sign it!

Lifestraw fundraiser
Seventy-five percent of the Earth's surface is covered with water,
yet millions are dying each year for a drink of clean water. Lifestraw may be the answer. Voted "Europe's Best Invention" by
Reader Digest Magazine, it's a personal water purification tool
for prevention of waterborne diseases. WESA is raising money for
these portable water purifiers (which only cost $3.00!) to send
to foreign countries in need. As of the end of the fall 2007 semester, we have raised $1200 for the Lifestraw Project and are currently sponsoring a village in the Congo. |
