Nation: Global Warming Solutions for America is an educational
initiative trying to shift the national conversation about global
warming towards a determination to face this civilizational challenge.

Power Shift 2007
November 2-5, 2007
This fall, youth from across the country convened in Washington,
DC to change the climate on global warming in the United States. Kelly Peele represented WESA at this conference and gave her report in Issue 2 of The Leaflet. Read

KEEN Footwear's Sustainability College Tour
October 2007
The purpose of the tour is to promote a sustainability contest, the Stand
UP, OUT and FOR Sustainability Campaign, that is a call
to action to motivate
students to start thinking sustainably. KEEN has set aside $150,000
to encourage creative, adventurous, caring people whose ideas and
actions can help us all reduce our ecological footprint. KEEN awarded $1000 to one student organization at each college in its tour, and WESA won at NCSU!
NCSUstainability Investment
On September 20th, WESA voted to formally endorse its support of the NCSUstainability
Investment, which has the mission of
facilitating sustainability measures at NC State.

Three WESA representatives and our faculty advisor attended this
event to publicize our new organization.

If you couldn't make it to Cates Crawl, come to convocation! Before
heading in to the RBC Center, you'll have the chance to find our
organization's table to again fill out an application for membership,
or sign the NCSU Contract with the Environment.
