Welcome to the Aikido Club at NC State University!

Aikido is a traditional Japanese martial art, focusing on self defense. Aikido is used to redirect an attacker's energy, in a throw or pin (more on Aikido).

The Aikido Club meets in Carmichael Gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 8 pm (see the Schedule for details, or About Us for directions).

If you are new to martial arts, the New Members page will tell you what to expect.

Spring semester club practice resumed Jan. 17, 2017. Our practice schedule can be found on our Schedule page. We hope to see you on the mat!

The Aikido Club at NCSU, established in 1991, is affiliated with the United States Aikido Federation (USAF) Eastern Region.
