What You Need To Bring





  • Casual clothing
    • Dress for warm May weather but bring at least one pair of long pants and jacket incase of unusually cool temperatures
  • Sheets and blanket for a twin bed
  • Pillow
  • Towel and washcloth
  • Toiletries
  • Pair of closed toed shoes (we will be doing a lot of walking so make sure they’re comfortable)
  • Set of dress clothes for closing banquet
    • Ladies-dress pants, skirts, dresses, dress shoes
    • Men-dress pants, dress shirts, tie is optional (no jeans or tennis shoes)
  • Items for a talent show (i.e. an instrument, props for a skit, etc.)
  • Umbrella or Raincoat
  • Water bottle or Nalgene
  • A plain white tee-shirt (we will be doing an activity with these)
  • Photo ID (i.e. drivers license/permit)
    • This is MANDATORY to gain access to the Nuclear Reactor which we will be touring
  • All completed forms
    • Entering Survey
    • Insurance information
    • Copy of your insurance card
  • You do not need any money unless you wish to make personal purchases at the NCSU bookstore

**Although you will be able to lock your rooms, we suggest that you do NOT bring any valuables. SATELLITE does not accept responsibility for any personal items lost while at the program.
